- Lo (lo spagnolo) [It (Spanish)]
- Io parlo spagnolo [I speak Spanish]
- Tu parli il tedesco [You speak German]
- Lui parla il francese [He speaks French]
- Noi abbiamo parlato di psicologia [We talked about psychology]
- Abbiamo parlato [We have spoken]
- Io ho parlato, tu hai parlato, lui ha parlato, noi abbiamo parlato, voi avete parlato, loro hanno parlato [I have spoken, you have spoken, he/she has spoken, we have spoken, you (plural) have spoken, they have spoken]
- Parlare - parl + ato [To speak - speak + ed]
- Credere - cred-uto [To believe - believed]
- Dormire - dorm-ito [To sleep - slept]
- Noi stiamo studiando il presente [We are studying the present tense]
- Mi è piaciuta molto quella descrizione [I liked that description a lot]
- Dobbiamo finire il presente [We need to finish the present tense]
- Gli esercizi che non abbiamo finito l'altra volta [The exercises we didn't finish last time]
- Ricordi? [Do you remember?]
- Cosa fai oggi? [What are you doing today?]
- Vorrei mangiare [I would like to eat]
- Vorrei dormire [I would like to sleep]
- Vorrei bere una birra [I would like to drink a beer]
- Voglio mangiare [I want to eat]
- Vorrei bere un bicchiere di acqua naturale [I would like to drink a glass of still water]
- Posso avere un bicchiere di acqua naturale? [Can I have a glass of still water?]
- Potrei avere un bicchiere di acqua naturale? [Could I have a glass of still water?]
- Vorrei un bicchiere di acqua naturale per favore [I would like a glass of still water please]
- Vorrei una bottiglia d'acqua per favore [I would like a bottle of water please]
- Per favore, potrei avere una bottiglia d'acqua? [Please, could I have a bottle of water?]
- Vorrei = I would, potrei = I could, dovrei = I should
- Dovrei bere più acqua [I should drink more water]
- Com'è stata la tua giornata? Com'è andata la tua giornata? [How was your day?]
- Andare - andato [To go - gone]
- Sono andato [I went]
- Io vado, tu vai, lui va, noi andiamo, voi andate, loro vanno [I go, you go, he/she goes, we go, you (plural) go, they go]
- Mi sono svegliata tardi perché ieri ho lavorato fino a tardi [I woke up late because yesterday I worked until late]
- Ho fatto colazione e poi ho studiato [I had breakfast and then I studied]
- All'una ho pranzato e poi ho fatto delle lezioni di italiano [At one o'clock I had lunch and then I gave some Italian lessons]
- È tardi [It's late]
- All'una, alle due, alle tre, alle quattro, alle cinque [At one, at two, at three, at four, at five]
- Fare - fatto [To do - done]
- Io faccio, tu fai [I do, you do]
- Io ho fatto, tu hai fatto [I have done, you have done]
- Fare = to do
- Faccio colazione, fai colazione [I have breakfast, you have breakfast]
- Ho fatto colazione, hai fatto colazione [I had breakfast, you had breakfast]
- Dopo/poi [After/then]
- Sono andato a camminare [I went for a walk]
- E ora sono nella lezione di italiano [And now I'm in the Italian lesson]
- Ho pranzato [I had lunch]
